U.S. CyberPatriot and Cybersecurity Training - Middle School

In this program, middle and high school students learn about digital forensics, browser security, malware handling, virtualization and much more. This program is designed for high school students and focuses on learning cybersecurity through fun, hands-on, operating system and network security learning games and activities. All levels of experience are welcome!

This program readies participants for a competition that puts teams of students in the position of newly hired IT professionals tasked with managing the network of a small company. In the rounds of competition, teams are given a set of virtual images that represent operating systems, and are tasked with finding cybersecurity vulnerabilities within the images and hardening the system - all while maintaining critical services in a six-hour period.
